Who Is TabTrade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

TabTrade - The Short Version

TabTrade.com launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It suggests the founder has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. It is more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something this new, the breadth is broad.

Platforms

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Two major platforms from the same login. Many pick one platform. Getting both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That will round things out when it arrives.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. This broker does not.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not for typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, it matters less. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Now, the detail that requires honesty. The broker is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. But inform how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before you deposit.
