The Broker - What It Is
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
That last detail matters. It suggests the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is broad.
Platforms
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Getting both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people like it better than MT5 once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That will round things out once it is live.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not something the average person. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
This is where this broker actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? If you scalp, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
This is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
But. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It should factor into your assessment.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.
